Solar and Battery Installation Technician

We are seeking a residential solar and battery installation technician.

This is currently for the Orange County area, with some jobs stretching into Los Angeles.

Desired Candidate:

At least 1 year of installation experience handling all electrical aspects of installation

Ideally, already knowledgeable regarding Tesla Powerwalls

Ideally, could bring a second junior installer to be part of a team

Maintains safe work practices

Has excellent communication skills

What you will do:

Complete installation of Tesla Powerwalls

May also

Pull materials for each installation job

Provide an exceptional customer experience to all customers throughout the installation process

Interact with the customer with a professional appearance and attitude.

Specific Qualities:

Strong knowledge and usage of hand tools/power tools

Knowledge of electrical components, ability to read project plans

Team player and positive attitude

No fear of heights, comfortable on ladders, ability to lift heavy objects, Climbing, squatting, reaching, bending

Necessary Skills:

Experience with conduit bending and installation, troubleshooting and repair

Ability to safely handle tools and materials such as: ladders, inverters, solar panels, panel boards,

batteries, and other similar electrical equipment, lumber, materials, etc.

Great work ethic and punctual with strong problem-solving skills

Comfortable working on roofs, in high or tight areas, pride in workmanship
