Description:
The Warehouse Assistant Manager position is a hands-on floor position which controls and manages daily logistics of warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a great work ethic with an exceptional sense of urgency in completing assignments on a timely basis to meet or exceed company goals and objectives. The candidate must possess good communication skills and experience in training and development of workers. They MUST be able to read & write English fluently.
All Responsibilities are to be handled jointly by the Assistant Warehouse Manager and Warehouse Manager.
Responsibilities:
Effectively and efficiently manage warehouse team to successfully ship orders to customers accurately and on-time.
Accountable for maintaining warehouse inventories and product locations to provide product accuracy and visibility and eliminate variances.
Will be responsible for imputing data into our Fed-Ex System, and other computer related tasks.
Responsible for ensuring the physical organization of the warehouse, including managing staff to keep the warehouse organized as they work.
60 hour work weeks are not abnormal here. You must be willing and prepared to work these hours as needed. If you are not a HARD WORKING individual DO NOT APPLY.
Qualifications:
5-7 years’ experience performing a supervisory warehouse position, including managing/performing receiving, stocking, order pulling, shipping duties, as well as day to day operations.
Available to commute to all warehouse locations (Fountain Valley, Santa Ana, and La Puente)
Must be highly motivated, energetic and pay very close attention to details.
Provide 100% quality control on all orders.
Maintain a professional attitude with all employees, customers, vendors and visitors.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word & Excel. A computer assessment will be given to test applicants on computer literacy.
Must be experienced in Bill of Ladings, Certificates of Conformance and other warehouse related paperwork.
Must be able to take direction well and perform any additional required tasks.
