About the job:

As a Staff Accountant, you will support financial reporting, manage accounts payable and receivable, and perform reconciliations to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. This role involves collaboration with senior accountants, contributing to audits, and driving process improvements.

We're looking for someone who:

- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

- Has 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the agriculture sector

- Is proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel

- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and analytical skills

- Excels at both independent and team-based work

- Communicates effectively and organizes tasks efficiently

What you'll do:

- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports to ensure compliance with GAAP

- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and payment tracking

- Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

- Analyze financial trends to support budgeting and forecasting

- Maintain organized financial records, ensuring regulatory compliance

- Collaborate with senior accountants for audits and tax filings

- Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes and controls
