Looking for a Shop Technician Training Provided!

Palmdale Glass & Mirror Co. is looking for a hard-working individual to join our growing team! We are looking to hire a Shop Technician to help our Service Department provide excellent customer service and accurate, on-time results.

The Shop Technician's scope of work will be to assist in the overall operations of the shop. Specific duties will include:

- Keeping the shop organized and clean; this will require daily cleaning/sweeping and putting away all materials and products in their designated area.

- Assist with shop deliveries; the Shop Technician is expected to help with offloading windows, doors, glass, or any other products/materials being delivered to the shop. Heavy lifting (50+ lbs.) is required.

- Assist or lead in glass repairs; training will be provided. The Shop Technician will become skilled and experienced with handling raw glass, measuring and cutting raw glass, and fabricating glass units to completion.

- Be available to be used as a helper on larger jobs in the field. Must have a valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record in order to drive company trucks.

This is a full time position with working hours from 7am to 3:30pm with a half hour lunch, Monday through Friday. Shop is in Palmdale. Please respond to this job ad, if interested, with your name, phone number and resume. We look forward to hearing from you!
