Expeditor/planner for small Machine shop

Looking for an expeditor to facilitate the flow of parts and materials between various departments.

We are are a small upcoming shop needing someone to help keep track of the travelers as they move from the customer P.O. to the various shop processes (mainly mill, lathe, deburring, out-processes including plating EDM, grinding etc.) then to inventory and shipped out to the customer.

Job duties include:

Compare parts with specifications, liaising with vendors, ordering materials, handling inventories, and tracking orders.

Must be able to:

Lift 25 lbs

Communicate clearly and effectively

Read comprehend and follow instruction

Pay attention to detail

Read a blue print

Use basic counting and math well to keep track of inventory

Use a Computer and type min 30 WPM.

Use Excel and occasionally other MS Office programs

We will train to use Job Boss program

Follow company policies, safety and security programs

Have flexibility to be trained to perform other duties

Occasional short distance driving

We will require drug testing, bi-lingual is a plus and health benefits are available.

Strong work ethic and ability to work well with others a must.

Pay between $20-$28.50 depending on experience and abilities.
