About the office:

Our company offers continuing education courses and products. We are looking for a Marketing and Promotions assistant to increase sales through the development and maintenance of advertisements. The assistant will be expected to use analytics to track the success of ad campaigns and provide recommendations for future campaigns.

Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:

Planning, executing, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns across various channels, such as SEO, PPC, social media, email, and content marketing

Managing social media profiles, maintaining a marketing calendar, and engaging with the audience to build a strong online community

Overseeing the creation of content for websites, blogs, social media, and other digital platforms to ensure it aligns with the brand’s voice and marketing goal

Managing the budget for digital marketing activities and ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI

Monitoring and analyzing the performance of digital marketing campaigns using tools like Google Analytics, and adjusting strategies based on data insights.

Staying updated with the latest digital marketing technologies and tools and evaluating new tools that can enhance marketing efforts

Coordinating with marketing team members to ensure that tasks are on track, addressing any issues, and providing guidance

Engaging with external vendors, agencies, or partners to discuss collaboration, services, or performance

Meeting with other departments, such as sales or customer service to align marketing efforts with overall business goals

Other duties, as assigned

Requirements:

Ability to develop and implement effective digital marketing strategies.

Understanding of current digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices

Knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, HubSpot)

Experience in using Adobe Photoshop, In-Design and/or Premiere Pro

Ability to communicate professionally, both orally and in writing, with excellent English grammar

Ability to handle high-stress situations effectively

Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with timeliness, organization, and attention to detail

Strong leadership skills

Expertise in social media, copywriting, and ad promotion

Efficient in Microsoft and Google Office Suite (Word/Docs, Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint and Outlook/Google mail)

Handle incoming calls with professional phone etiquette

Ability to work independently and with a team

Some college preferred

A plus:

Data analysis

Experience with business writing and emails

Computer-based research skills

Previous marketing experience

Customer service and other administrative skills

More about this position:

Company seeks professional, engaging, energetic worker seeking long-term employment only!

Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. (with a 15-minute paid rest break and required unpaid 30-minute meal break = 27.5 hours per week) or Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. (with two 15-minute paid rest breaks and a required unpaid 30-minute break = 37.5 hours per week)

Location: Los Angeles, CA 90046

Pay rate: $28.00/hour

Casual dress

Maximum of 48 hours of sick pay per year, dependent on start date and 90-day probational period

6 paid holidays each year after 90 days of employment

If invited for an interview, applicants must be able to provide three professional references

Interview process will include a skills assessment, reference checks, and a background check
