We are seeking a friendly, efficient, and detail-oriented Cashier/Customer Service Team Member to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the face of our business, ensuring a positive and seamless experience for all customers during their visit and checkout process. This role requires strong communication skills, an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

Greet customers in a warm and welcoming manner upon entry and at the point of sale.

Manage transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register or Point-of-Sale (POS) system.

Process various forms of payment including cash, credit/debit cards, and checks, and issue receipts, refunds, and change as needed.

Answer customer questions, provide product information, and resolve complaints or price discrepancies in a timely and courteous manner.

Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and workspace.

Assist with general store duties such as stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and bagging purchases during downtime.

Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Previous experience in a retail/restaurant, customer service, or cashier role is a plus.

Basic math skills and strong attention to detail for handling transactions and counting money accurately.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.

A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
