Position Overview:

We are a leading commercial cleaning company seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team. This critical role focuses on managing existing client accounts, ensuring quality control, and helping secure new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial cleaning and account management, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

Account Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by acting as their primary point of contact.

Conduct frequent site visits to ensure client satisfaction and address concerns promptly.

Act as a liaison between clients and cleaning crews, ensuring seamless communication and resolution of issues.

Business Development:

Participate in walk-throughs with potential new clients to understand their needs and provide tailored cleaning solutions.

Prepare detailed estimates and proposals for new business opportunities.

Collaborate with the sales team to drive client acquisition and retention strategies.

Quality Control:

Perform regular quality control inspections of sites to ensure high standards of service.

Provide feedback to cleaning crews and implement corrective actions when necessary.

Develop and implement procedures for ongoing quality improvement.

Operations:

Coordinate schedules for cleaning crews to ensure optimal efficiency and coverage.

Support in hiring, training, and onboarding new cleaning staff.

Maintain accurate records of client accounts, inspections, and job status.

Administrative:

Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) to manage documentation, schedules, and reports.

Prepare and submit performance updates and reports to management.

Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring teams have the necessary tools to succeed.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years in commercial cleaning and account management.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial cleaning procedures, equipment, and industry standards.

Technology Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM or scheduling software.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client and team interactions.

Organizational Skills: Strong multitasking ability with a keen eye for detail and quality.

Transportation: Must have reliable transportation for frequent site visits.

Problem-Solving: Ability to identify challenges and implement solutions quickly and effectively.

Flexibility: Available for occasional after-hours emergencies or client needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.

Experience with budgeting and cost estimation.

Knowledge of OSHA standards and compliance regulations in the cleaning industry.
