Electricians (Foreman & Journeymen)
California, Inland empire 00000 Inland empire USACommercial Electric company is looking to hire Foremen and Journeymen electricians. If you meet the below criteria please email us your resume. (Be sure to state if you are interested in Foreman or Journeyman position.)
Foreman
Description of Duties
Supervising a crew of 4-8 electricians
Monitoring productivity of crew
Working with tools
Working on scissor and boom lifts
Completing field administration: daily reports
Organizing and coordinating all work with Superintendent and other trade’s
Mentor apprentices
Complete projects within a scheduled time frame
Recognize any safety hazards and possible change orders and report them to your supervisor
Qualifications
California State Certified Journeyman Certificate
Strong communication, organizational, and people skills are required.
A minimum of 7 years electrical experience
A minimum of 3 year’s experience as a commercial foreman electrician
Prefer a CAL-OSHA 30 Certification
Prefer a NFPA 70E Certification
Conduit bending skills from ½” to 4”
Wire pulling skills form 12AWG to 500KCMIL
Conduit threading experience
Wire tugging experience
Valid California driver’s license
Availability for overnight work
Reliable means of transportation
Physical Demands
Wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves always), respirator when required.
Climbing ladders and steep stairs, crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, reaching, able to routinely lift heavy objects more than 50 pounds and pushing and pulling of objects is required.
Journeyman
Description of Duties
Installing conduit from ½” to 4” underground and overhead
Wire pulling 12AWG-500KCMIL
Install lights/lighting controls
Wire devices
Make up panels
Work on scissor and boom lifts
Mentor Apprentices
Complete projects within a scheduled time frame
Qualifications
Prefer a California State Certified Journeyman Certificate
A minimum of 5 year’s experience as a commercial electrician
Prefer a CAL-OSHA 30 Certification
Valid California Driver’s License
Availability for overnight work
