Assistant Restaurant Manager

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. We have a vibrant Italian restaurant located in Temecula.

Position Overview: As the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will work closely with the Business Manager and Owners to oversee daily operations and uphold our high standards of quality and service. You will play a key role in managing staff, ensuring smooth restaurant operations, and maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures.

Supervise and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service and maintain a positive work environment.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.

Manage reservations and oversee seating arrangements to optimize dining efficiency.

Handle customer inquiries, comments, and complaints promptly and professionally.

Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to enhance team performance.

Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling costs.

Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain menu consistency and quality.

Support marketing and promotional activities to attract new customers and enhance brand visibility.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the restaurant industry, preferably in Italian cuisine.

Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.

Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant management software.

Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
