The digital transformation program will transform Medtronic plants, improving quality, compliance, cost and delivery performance.This represents a strategic opportunity for a Manufacturing transformation to:· Design standardized end-to-end processes to generate business value for Industrial Processes and deliver best-in-class solutions to our Manufacturing sites, with a high focus on electronic device history record management, automated data collection from machine and equipment & release by exception process.· Deliver innovative "state of the art" tools enabling performance for manufacturing processes across the manufacturing sites.· Allow new generation of deployment – more Agile & business centric.A Day in the LifeResponsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.As a Global Process Lead Digital Manufacturing, you will be working directly with the manufacturing sites to understand their manufacturing shopfloor processes and information flows. You will conduct manufacturing sites assessment (fit to standard), define the standard processes and related requirement, this as input for the global template and standard MES system. You will demonstrate deep understanding of the processes, system design and associated data. You will document and govern the standard process templates; you will be working closely with the MES digital product owner and solution architects to assure standards are followed and achieved with minimal customizations. You will bring in new perspective and industry best practices and emerging standards that will contribute to further optimization and continuous improvements of the manufacturing operations. You will assist in process designs for unique / nonstandard processes to evolve into a potential standard included into the global template.Main responsibilities:· Sets standards for best in class processes and assures the design meets these standards and own as appropriate accountability for results (business process outcome).· Diagrams and evaluates existing processes, designs processes to improve efficiencies in manufacturing facilities; and design best in class processes that eliminates waste in the overall processes through process digitalization.· Safeguards the proper design and build of core solutions as close to standard market solutions as possible, on the basis of state-of-the-art best practices and aiming at aligning processes and enabling operational efficiency across the different manufacturing sites.· Presents and Leads process mapping workshops and system walkthrough to identify improvements in manufacturing processes as input to global template.· Assists in development of business cases to support digital capabilities deployment.· Owns, develop and maintain MES Process scenario playbook with best practices.· Recommends process improvement through leverage of MES capabilities.· Assists deployments teams with the successful implementation of key processes and system functionalities.Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Bachelors degree required

Requires a University Degree and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience

Nice to Have· Education: Industrial Engineering or related field Bachelors or University degree required and minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience.· 10+ years work experience in Manufacturing domain, preferably has worked as an industrial engineer at a manufacturing plant.· 5+ years work experience in deploying Manufacturing Execution System / Shopfloor Automation Solutions· Significant & demonstrated experience of manufacturing processes in discrete manufacturing, preferable Medical.· Willingness to travel 25-30% of time.· Significant MES in a GxP context experience.· Knowledge of business processes covered by a standard MES System, from order dispatch, batch / device records, line clearance, track & trace, material consumption, backflush, non-conformance management, operational reporting and KPI’s· Strong communication, interaction and influencing skills.· Ability to challenge, open minded and active listening.· Ability to evaluate processes/solution to improve performance and drive continuous improvement.· Ability to deal with ambiguity and work in autonomy with limited guidelines.· Personal computer skills in a variety of software programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, VisioAbout MedtronicTogether, we can change healthcare worldwide.
