Landscape Maintenance Person

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and equipment to ensure a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct & perform garden and landscape maintenance tasks

- Care for trees, including pruning and removal when necessary (including planting)

- Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper functioning

- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment

- Assist with snow plowing during winter months

- Perform lawn care duties such as mowing, edging, and fertilizing

- Following routine maintenance tasks provided by the maintenance manager and office.

- Operate power tools safely and efficiently

Skills:

- MUST HAVE Experience in landscape maintenance for at least 5 years

- Knowledge of tree care practices (including trimming)

- Ability to maintain or assist in the repair of irrigation systems

- Mechanical knowledge of tools (weed whacker, riding mower, lawnmower, pole trimmer, leaf blower, fertilizer, etc.)

- Proficiency in snow plowing techniques

- Familiarity with lawn care procedures

- Good stamina and physical health to work outdoors for extended periods

- Knowledge in operating various power tools

- Communication skills and quality customer service

- High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Landscape maintenance: 6 years (Required)

Customer service: 5 years (Required)
