Mechanical Assembler - New Berlin, WI

JOB POSITION- Mechanical AssemblerThis position is responsible for assembling product both inside and outside our facility along with material handling inside our facility. Some of the positions responsibilities are:Perform a variety of assembly operations for subassembly production orders.Perform assembly of hoist and other mechanical components.Assist with layout, aligning, fit and assembly of cranes both at subcontractors and in house.Assist with set-up and performing Factory Acceptance Test and tear down after completion.Assist with prepping product for shipping and load out of equipment.Assist with material handling activities in our warehouse. This includes putting product away and picking orders when needed.Complete the proper paper work on non conforming material when discovered during incoming inspection or during the assembly process.Follow all safety rules and regulations.Follow all policies and procedures for the department.This should be considered a partial list of job responsibilities as KNES reserves the right to add or subtract activities from this job description.
