This position will assist in aligning people, processes, information systems, and structure with the strategic direction of the agency. The Project Coordinator works closely with the Project Manager in developing, tracking, and presenting project plans, charts, updates, and post implementation tasks. The position also supports the Project Manager in gathering resources and information to implement upcoming projects.Essential Job Functions:(Reasonable Accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.)
Assists Project Manager in preparing and maintaining project plans that include but are not limited to project timelines, schedules, agendas, and training plans to include input from technical and operational resources.
Coordinates with managers and clients to define project requirements, scopes, and objectives that align with organizational goals.
Coordinates internal and external resources, ensuring that projects remain within scope and schedule
Analyzes project progress and, when necessary, works with Project Manager to adapt scope or timeline to achieve optimal results
Organizes and coordinates the various parts of a project to ensure its success. This includes assigning and monitoring daily tasks and communication, as well as creating reports and updates for and with the Project Manager and other members of the project team and management
Assists the Project Manager in assigning roles and tasks to team members based on their individual strengths and abilities
Assists Project Manager in monitoring project deliverables and progress through the duration of the project plan
Ensures that expectations are clear, priorities established, focus maintained, and tough decisions addressed on assigned projects.
Assists Project Manager in development and maintenance of project performance database that tracking overall progress and achievement of milestones
Reports project risks and outcomes to appropriate management channels, and escalate issues according to project work plan to Project Manager
Serves as point of communication, with Project Manager, between company teams and external resources
Performs special assignments and or projects as assigned
QualificationsRequired Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure and Credentials: (Where appropriate, education and/or experience may be substituted)Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or certification in field with additional experienceMinimum Required Experience: 1-3 years of project coordination experience preferredRequired License – Certification – Registration : Professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) is a plusKnowledge – Skills – Abilities:

Physical Requirements, Visual Acuity, and Work Conditions:Physical Requirements : Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
