Senior Transit (Bus Rapid Transit) Engineer

Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking a Senior Transit (Bus) Engineer to be based in the Green Bay, Milwaukee, Madison, Oshkosh or Stevens Point, Wisconsin locations to join our growing transit engineering practice.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Be a design lead on preliminary design studies and final design of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) projects.Coordinate, cooperate, and work collaboratively with other team members.Assists with the engineering design of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) projects, including the design of BRT transit guideways, BRT stations, and pedestrian facilities.Lead a team preparing engineering calculations and developing drawings and visual aids for BRT infrastructure.Reviews designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings.Support the business development of the AECOM Bus Rapid Transit Design Group.Contributes to the development of reports and documentation needed for the pursuit of federal grants.Perform work following an agreed-upon budget and schedule with little supervision.
