$16.50/Hour Full Time Floating Support Staff (PMs)

The Floating Support Staff helps ensures the delivery of high quality services by participating in the residential and community based direct support of clients in the Lakeview Supported Living Services (Lakeview) network. More specifically, a Floating Support Staff has the necessary skills and experience to support any client at any time during their shift. The position is primarily field based and reports to the Director of Client Services. The responsibilities of the Floating Support Staff may include, but are not limited to:

Building and maintaining a strong rapport with clients.

Supporting clients via scheduled shifts, errands, appointments and enrichment activities.

Completing initial and ongoing training for both new and existing Support Staff.

Meal preparation

Light housekeeping

Medication administration

Performing personal cares

Grocery shopping

Transferring (with or without mechanical lifts)

Incontinence care

Bathing/showering

Managing behaviors

Help maintain physical and emotional health

To be eligible for this position you are required to have the following availability:

Monday - Friday and every other weekend, 1:00pm - 9:00pm, with one optional weekday off

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

5 Years Caregiving/Direct Support experience

Be able to pass a Caregiver/Criminal Background Check

Smartphone with with the ability to install and use a scheduling and timekeeping application (Required)

Valid Regular Driver's License (Required)

Reliable and Insured personal transportation (Required)

Know how to not take the actions of clients personally

Be reliable and timely

Be able to think critically and problem solve, but also rely on your common sense.
