Data Governance Analyst

Description We are in search of a skilled and adaptable MDM and Data Governance Specialist to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of expertise in Master Data Management (MDM), business acumen, and familiarity with cutting-edge tools such as Snowflake and the Prophecy Tool. As our team embarks on integrating new technologies, your role will be instrumental in MDM implementation, workflow design, and providing overall support.Responsibilities:MDM Management:

Spearhead the implementation and management of Master Data Management processes and tools.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and enforce data governance policies and standards.

Establish and maintain MDM domain, rules, and workflows to ensure data consistency and quality.

Hybrid Skills:

Demonstrate a unique skill set that combines technical expertise in MDM with a strong understanding of business processes.

Bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring that MDM aligns with organizational goals.

Snowflake Expertise:

Utilize in-depth knowledge of Snowflake to enhance data warehousing capabilities.

Collaborate with teams to optimize Snowflake configurations and integrate it seamlessly into the data ecosystem.

Prophecy Tool Implementation:

Work closely with the team in setting up and configuring the Prophecy Tool for effective data integration and management.

Collaborate with vendors to accelerate the learning curve and maximize the potential of the Prophecy Tool within the organization.

Vendor Collaboration:

Engage with vendors providing MDM and Prophecy Tool solutions, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and support.

Facilitate ongoing learning and development within the team to adopt new tools and technologies at a pace aligned with business needs.

Workflow Design and Support:

Design and optimize data workflows to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Provide ongoing support for MDM processes, troubleshooting issues, and implementing improvements.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Proven experience in Master Data Management, including hands-on implementation and configuration.

Familiarity with Snowflake and proficiency in leveraging its capabilities for data warehousing.

Experience with Prophecy Tool or similar data integration platforms.

Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.

Preferred Skills:

Certification in MDM or related disciplines.

Experience in the healthcare, finance, or other regulated industries.

Knowledge of other MDM tools and data governance frameworks.
