Farmworker/handyman/carpenter

Agriculture worker/handyman/carpenter. Full to part job starting now through Oct 2024. Working on a produce farm with high tunnels/greenhouses. Tasks include:

Polyurethane new addition-walls ceiling

Sand floors (old and new), finish floors with hydroline floor sealer

Plant seeds for vegetable transplants

Prep tunnels to grow berries and veggies, 6 tunnels

Plant transplants and seeds in 4 tunnels

Prep for "enhance composting", 2 tunnels, research and development leading to federal grants

Put plastic roofing on top, 2 tunnels

Take down 2 down tunnels using masonry saw to cut galvanized steel

Move calf manure/sawdust into two tunnels for compost r & d

Set up three tunnels for composting

Run compost experiment 3 tunnels

Plant, prune, pick veggies and berries 6 tunnels

Pick Berries (M,W,F). Not hourly but paid on commission. $1.50/clam raspberry, $1 quart per quart clam strawberries, $1/clam blackberries. The berries are from June to November

Carpentry - summer kitchen & deck expansion. Need labor estimate

Carpentry - install new stove/fireplace with 6" flue - need labor estimate

Carpentry - install fireplace with flue - need labor estimate

Prepare tunnels for next year - In Dec

Carpentry - build 12’x30’ tunnel to stack wood and greenhouse - need labor estimate

Carpentry - build 30’x40’ garage & causeway -need labor estimate

Maybe additional tasks.

Operate Compact Tractor. This is a full time job for 8 1/2 months paying $31,500 based on job hourly estimates and hourly rate Or will break up into part time jobs. Pay is $20/hr for Ag, $25/hr for non Ag. References required Contact Erik
