DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

If this sounds like you, then you need to apply for the Full Time Floating Solutions Specialist position we have open right now! Altra’s Floating Solutions Specialist provide professional, friendly service, information, and assistance, and set the standard of service our members have come to expect in visiting any office location!

Altra’s Floating Solutions Specialists will travel to different Altra locations in WI (Onalaska, West Salem, Holmen, and La Crosse) and MN (La Crescent, Winona, and Rochester) on an as-needed basis to fill in at those offices where and when assistance is needed. The Floating Solutions Specialist’s home office will be at the La Crosse Losey Blvd. office in La Crosse, WI. Because this position is a floating position, you will work in face-to-face offices, Kiosk style office and technology style offices. You will be required to work as a team and be able to work in fast-paced environments.

The Floating Solutions Specialist will also assist and show members how to use Altra’s self-service technology in the branch and perform Member Service and Consumer Lending functions, including, but not limited to:

Opening and closing of accounts

Teller services

Processing account changes

Completing share certificates

Work with IRA and Trust accounts

Process loan applications via phone, fax, internet, and in-person

Present loan products to members and provide loan recommendations

Perform savings bond redemptions

Gift card sales

Notary services, cashier’s checks

Print debit cards and handle member transactions as needed

Refer members to Real Estate Lending, Altra Financial Advisors and Business Lending

Qualified candidates will be required to have a High School diploma, GED or HSED. A two-year degree in business or a related field would be preferred, but not required. One (1) to three (3) years of financial or retail experience is required. Lending and sales experience would be helpful, but not required. Candidates must have strong knowledge of e-service products and be able to sell, promote and educate members on those products’ functionality.

This position will be 40-hours per week and will require flexibility within posted WI and MN offices; hours will be scheduled between 7:15 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. Floating Solutions Specialists are required to work rotating Saturday hours about once every six weeks, in the Onalaska WI office from 7:45 a.m. until 12:15 p.m.

Pay and Benefits:

Competitive starting rate of $20.57+ per hour, ($18.57 per hour, plus $2 floating premium), plus participation in an incentive plan

Bilingual pay premium of $1.00/hour, after completing and passing the Spanish or Hmong language exam

Experience
