We will provide a continuum of evidence-based treatment that delivers the highest quality of care and improves the lives of those we serve.Burkwood is seeking a full-time Milieu Coordinator to be primarily responsible for organizing and preparing schedules of the BHA department as well as for providing direct care services to patients at the facility.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Identify the developmental needs of assigned staff by coaching, mentoring or helping others to improve their knowledge or skills.

Amend staffing schedule as requested and/or necessary to provide quality patient care.

Provide guidance and direction to other staff members, including training of new staff, or otherwise assisting in day-to-day operations.

Assist clients toward completion of required educational materials including worksheets, videos, and audio files.

Assist clients adhere to the facility's group and activity schedule.

Provide transportation for patient or coordinate transportation with appropriate staff member, as needed.

Facilitate the individual admission and discharge processes, as well as patient transfers.

Perform direct care duties as required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Associate’s degree in human service field required.

Experience in healthcare scheduling preferred.

Two or more years’ experience working with the substance abuse population.
