Manufacturing Systems Summary of Job Duties – Scientific Technician/Technologist (Engineering) PositionsEmployees in these positions work in direct support of qualified manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering professionals involved in the design, validation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of cabinet-manufacturing processes. Duties may include applying engineering principles to interpret drawings, tolerances, equipment specifications, tooling requirements, process parameters, and approved work instructions; conducting process trials and technical evaluations; collecting and analyzing dimensional, cycle-time, defect, and equipment-performance data; investigating process deviations and supporting root-cause analysis and corrective actions; and preparing technical records and reporting results to the supporting engineering professional.Depending on the specific position, employees may operate and support CNC machines, BHX automated machining systems, circular saw systems, front-load saw systems, manufacturing equipment, and production quality systems. Responsibilities may include machine setup and operation, program and tooling verification, loading and unloading materials, monitoring equipment performance and production flow, performing first-piece, in-process, and final quality inspections, verifying dimensional accuracy, identifying defects or equipment issues, maintaining technical and production records, notifying maintenance or supervisors when necessary, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area.This is a general summary combining the primary duties across all listed positions. The specific duties will vary depending on the position, equipment, production needs, and assignment, and employees may be required to perform additional job duties and responsibilities not specifically mentioned in this summary.  JOB TYPE: Full TimeWAGE PER HOUR: $23 to $27 based on posiAon, experience, skills and will be assigned by the employer, once a positionon is offered.OVER TIME: 10-30 hours if there are open projects that need itWORKWEEK: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–4 p.m. with a 1-hour unpaid lunch. Overtime as needed.PAYMENT DAYS: Currently weekly on Fridays. EffecTve 1/1/2027, this will change to bi-weekly pay every other Friday.PAYMENT TYPE: Direct Deposit or live Check
