The Education and Events Lead is a food enthusiast who passionately engages guests in Eataly’s mission through events and educational programming. Reports to the Marketing Manager.Plans, schedules and executes public and private events including: specialized cooking/wine/food knowledge classes, group reservations, buyouts, press events, tastings and private receptionsSupervises staff members during events to ensure smooth executionWrites and monitors class descriptions; compiles instructor biographies, Banquet Event Orders (BEO’s) and sales contracts; creates class registration pages onlineFosters accountability in departments and interdepartmental collaboration when planning eventsBuilds and manages client lists and relationshipsPerforms other duties as required or assigned
