Security Operations Centre Operator

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Security Operations Centre (SOC) Operator to join our team within a critical data centre environment. This role is responsible for real-time monitoring of high-volume CCTV systems, access control platforms, and security alarms to ensure the safety, security, and integrity of the facility.You will play a key role in detecting, assessing, and responding to incidents, while supporting on-site & business security operations and maintaining compliance with established procedures.What will you do:Monitor high-volume CCTV systems and detect abnormal or suspicious activityManage and respond to security alarms, incidents, and access control eventsOperate and oversee electronic access control systems (e.g. IDACS)Coordinate incident response, including escalation to on-site teams and emergency servicesMaintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentationProvide remote support to security personnel, contractors, and staffEnsure compliance with security policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsSupport audits, investigations, and continuous improvement initiativesAbout YouProven experience in high-volume CCTV monitoring within a security roleExperience in data centres, critical infrastructure, or high-security environments (highly regarded)Strong situational awareness and ability to assess risk quicklyExcellent communication and reporting skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced 24/7 operations environmentHigh level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detailComfortable working with multiple systems and technologies simultaneously
