General Construction Foreman

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

This is a working supervisory position. You must work along side your team (crew)

Have own tools and transportation. Fuel reimbursement provided. Time and project management is essential. Must be a productive leader of the team that has the ability to motivate and direct personnel in an efficient manner.

JOB DUTIES

- Coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery and personnel

- Delegate individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and subcontractors

- Train, manage and mentor employees and subcontractors

- Project adequate needed resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices and safety needs

- Emphasize safe use of tools, machinery and equipment while providing training on safety gear, helmets and procedures

- Develop and manage project budgets and quality standards for all sites

- Resolve conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably

- Regularly report project status to supervisors, site engineers and other officials

- Any other duties that the jib may require
