What you'll do as Assistant ManagerWorking closely with the General Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the pub, helping to deliver brilliant customer experiences while driving team performance and business success.Your responsibilities will include:Leading from the front: Support the General Manager in running the pub, taking ownership of shifts and stepping up to lead the business in their absence.Creating great experiences: Make every customer feel welcome, ensuring fantastic service and memorable visits.Developing your team: Coach, motivate and support your colleagues, helping them build their confidence and reach their potential.Driving business performance: Look for opportunities to grow sales, maximise trading opportunities and encourage customers to return.Maintaining high standards: Ensure excellent standards across food, drink, cleanliness, health and safety, and compliance.Building a positive culture: Lead by example, communicate effectively and create an environment where everyone feels valued.Making it happen: Stay hands-on during busy periods, adapt to challenges and keep the pub running smoothly.
