Swing Shift Shipping Clerk

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice within the 10 hour work shift.

Ensures all shipments receive the proper labeling and postal charges and are packaged to arrive safely.

Keep management and supervisors aware of product shortages in order to maintain accurate records.

Organize stock and merchandise in the warehouse by properly boxing and storing good in their designated location.

Practice customer service when interacting with other companies and clients to maintain a positive interaction with external parties.

Accurately package, label and weigh items to be shipped and ensure proper shipment methods and shipping charges.

Prepare detailed and accurate invoices to accompany shipments and ensure all items are packaged and shipped to company standards.

Education and/or Experience:

High School Diploma or GED, or any related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, 2 years forklift experience.

Preferred Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations:

Forklift certification

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
