WATER HEATER INSTALLER and SALES ASSOCIATE

GREENWOOD HARDWARE IS SEEKING JOURNEYMAN PLUMBER PL1 or PL2

Must have experience with electric and natural gas hot water heaters, including Power vent, Direct vent and OnDemand

Our focus is hot water heater removal and installation only. We replace and service water heaters in single family homes, condos, and apartment complexes.

JOURNEYMAN HOURS: 8:00AM TO 4:00PM M-F (FLEXABLE)

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

PL1 or PL2 WA licensed, and willingness to have an apprentice.

Clean drivers record.

RETAIL EXPERIENCE A PLUS

BASIC WINDOWS COMPUTER SKILLS

Responsibilities:

- Schedule, install, and bill water heater installations, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures to complete job to code.

- Inspect water heaters and identify issues or potential problems

- Perform routine service calls of water heaters s to ensure functionality and prevent future issues

- Follow building codes and regulations in all water heater installations and repairs

- Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns or questions

Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber license or equivalent certification

- Proven 2 year experience in commercial plumbing projects

- Proficiency in pipe threading, soldering, welding, and other plumbing techniques

- Strong knowledge of basic math for accurate measurements and calculations

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues

- Familiarity with power tools and equipment used in plumbing installations and repairs

- Strong mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems and components

- Experience in field service or construction plumbing is preferred
