General Manager/COO of a Security Staffing Firm

We are a SDVOSB full-service Security Staffing and Safety Solutions provider for Western WA. We specialize in construction site and commercial property security and serve some of the largest general contractors and commercial property management companies in the area.

We are seeking a Vice President of Operations that can manage all day-to-day operations of the company. Ideally, this person will be someone with significant experience (10+) years and demonstrable history of successfully managing a small business. A bonus would be a veteran or retired LEO with security guard leadership experience.

Laptop, phone and other benefits included. This is a position that will require a high degree of autonomy, responsibility and most importantly requires immense initiative. You will be in charge of 10+ employees, multiple sites and will need to interact with clients and present the best possible image of our company. You will need to obtain your guard card and certified trainer card if you don't already have one and/or fill this role as one of the first tasks. This is a position of managing people, schedules, rosters, hours, and navigating the legal aspects of managing a security guard company in WA. We expect you to have a working knowledge on how to do these tasks. A successful candidate will create and execute management processes and functions to ensure the success of those they manage and the company itself.

This is not a 9-5 type job. Hours will vary and are flexible. This is a salaried position. This position requires immersion into the core of the company to be successful. While a remote position, the successful candidate will be traveling in the greater Seattle area with some frequency.
