RIDE BICYCLES ISSAQUAH hiring for Retail Sales Manager

Ride Bicycles (est. 2010) is a fast growing full service bike shop with stores located in Seattle and Issaquah Washington. Our mission is to help people ride bicycles. Ride Bicycles strives to have the most inventory on hand as possible to serve our customers. We offer sales of bicycles, parts, clothing and accessories online and in store. We have a full service repair department and a mountain bike rental department. We off all types of bicycles as well as electric bicycles. We carry the following brands of bicycles Transition Norco Surly Evil Ibis Kona. The Issaquah location is 80% mountain bike sales. Ride Bicycles is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Benefits - $24 - $36 per hour DOE. Overtime and bonus available.

-Cost plus 3% on accessories, parts, and bikes. Demo bikes.

-Sick and Vacation pay.

-Employee break room kitchenette, bathroom and shower.

-Health Insurance Plan offered after 3 months.

Requirements - 40 plus hours a week. 4-5 days a week. At least 1 weekend day.

A. Experience: At least 2 years experience in comparable Retail Sales responsibilities. (bicycle retail background preferred but not required)

B. Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

C. Skill: Be an excellent communicator. Have interest in continually learning and be able to describe details of different bicycle models, parts, accessories, and apparel.

D. Characteristics: This position requires attention to detail and teamwork. You will be required to work with on the sales floor and in the warehouse. Online inventory tracking and work order management.

Responsibilities - Sales Manager duties include

A. Collaborating with the General Manager and management team on continuous improvement projects.

B. Direct Sales Associates to create a successful customer experience and meet sales benchmarks.

C. Sustain a positive environment by ensuring daily tasks are completed by sales associates.

D. Execute on sales procedure to deliver uncompromised service to customers in a timely manner. Greet customers and sell bicycles. Follow up call with customers to close sales.
