Delivery Driver / Sales

Soundbite Cider is seeking a part-time delivery driver / sales person for deliveries and sales in the Puget Sound area. Ideal candidates are people in the service industry that are looking to get into the supply side of things. The position is also open to cider enthusiasts with a passion for cider and looking to gain some experience in the industry or people who think selling cider to bars, taprooms, and retail establishments sounds like it would be fun. This position also has the potential to transition to a full-time position as our company grows.

Qualifications

Must be 21, have a valid Driver's License, and an insurable driving record.

Ability to lift or move cases and kegs up and down stairs and be in and out of vehicles consistently throughout the day.

Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Ability to problem-solve with speed, to completion, and responsibly follow up on accounts and sales calls.

Must be able to maintain a fast, physical pace while making accurate deliveries and operating the company vehicle safely.

Previous delivery and/or customer service / sales experience is preferred.

Familiarity with applications such as SharePoint, Asset Tiger, and Microsoft Office.

Possess a true entrepreneurial spirit.

Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.

Have strong sales, communication, and presentation skills.

Able to analyze and understand data and information.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule.

Passionate about craft cider and proven sales experience with an ability to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the Northwest craft cider market is preferred.

Take initiative to be outgoing and approachable, self-driven and motivated.

Responsibilities

Person will be responsible for maintaining the company’s marketing and sales strategies and objectives.

Work cooperatively with Soundbite owners and most importantly, current customers and potential customers.

Deliver our cider in various types of packaging while meeting productivity standards and completing work in a timely manner.

Maintain cleanliness of vehicle, perform pre and post-trip inspections daily, and add fuel, and fluids as necessary.

Follow directions but work independently while maintaining a high level of customer service, productivity, and self-motivation.

Review inventory and handle orders for daily deliveries.

Position may involve some work in the cider production facility.

Develop and maintain strategic relationships with accounts and potential accounts.

Responsible for promoting and securing beverage sales in the market, performing functions to secure new business accounts, and facilitating the needs of the existing sales accounts.

Occasionally work nights and weekends to support and coordinate events and promotions to deliver greater brand awareness in accounts.

Provide essential feedback to Soundbite owners about retail successes and challenges.

Keep business calendar up to date and scheduled 60 days out.

Flexibility to make changes based on feedback and customer needs

Plans weekly/daily approach to territory with consideration toward overall corporate goals, objectives, quotas and programs.
