Pathway Home is looking for 2 full or part time qualified independent contractors to join our team in providing safe Family time visits to our clients in these (Snohomish) counties. Crossing toll bridges to get to visit location will be reimbursed by DCYF.

This position is great for students and stay at home mom's or dad's who require flexibility in their schedule than a nine to five job can offer. Working as a Visitation Supervisor will give you the freedom and opportunity to have more independence and set your own work days and hours.

Ideal candidates will have weekends and evening available to cover visits

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Family time visitation supervisors (VS) are responsible for safely transporting children in foster care to court ordered visits with their biological, noncustodial parent(s). VS will keep detailed objective, non-biased documentation of parent and child interactions and behaviors. VS will intervene to keep children safe. VS will maintain boundaries and embody professionalism with families, social workers, court appointed workers, law enforcement, counselors, and other agencies.

Qualifications:

Must be over 21 years of age.

High school or equivalent.

Driver's License with a good driving record.

Must have an automobile in good working order and insurance.

Pass a criminal background check.

Own a cell phone/laptop for communication and producing visitation reports.

EDUCATIONAL Requirements:

High school/GED

AND,

One (1) year documented experience working with children and families in one of the following settings (can include volunteer time or internship): daycare, licensed foster parents, school setting, Boys and Girls Club, YMCA, supervised visitation, a social service agency,

OR,

Associate's Degree in Human Services or related field, or two years of completed coursework toward Bachelor's degree.

and,

Six (6) months documented experience working with children and families in one the following settings (may include volunteer time or internship): daycare, school setting, the YMCA, supervised visitation, a social service agency, or as a licensed foster parent,

OR,

Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field and,

(a) Knowledge of child safety;

(b) Effective problem solving;

(c) Excellent verbal and written communication;

(d) Knowledge of basic child development and milestones; and (e) Effective interpersonal communication.

Note This a sub-contractor position. Sub-contractors positions do not have benefits, vacation or overtime. You can work as many or as little hours as you need.

Compensation:$20-26

Starting rate is $20 an hour with a raise to $22 an hour once all requirements have been met. You are on the clock from the time you leave your driveway to the time you return. A two hour visit can easily become a 4,6,8 hour day depending on how far you have to drive to transport the child/ren. Your miles will be paid at .66 cents per mile. You will also be paid for report writing and Covid screening calls.
