Electro Mechanical Technician
Washington, Seattle-tacoma, 98101 Seattle-tacoma USAHummingbird Scientific is seeking a detail-oriented individual with hands-on assembly experience to join our growing team as an Electro-Mechanical Technician. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembling electro-mechanical components, soldering small components, wiring and testing electrical components, and welding.
In this role, you will be responsible for understanding and documenting the assembly process, assembling scientific equipment, and organizing and maintaining product assembly workspaces. Key Qualifications:
-Excellent fine motor skills and a steady hand
-Strong skills in soldering, wiring, and working knowledge of electrical components
-Working knowledge of assembly processes and documentation
-Extremely organized
-Systematic and analytical troubleshooter
-Ability to follow the assembly process from start to finish and communicate issues as they arise
Education and Experience:
-2+ years of experience as an Electro-Mechanical Technician (or similar role)
-Formal electronics training (Certificate, AA, BS)
-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Compensation: Minimum salary of $25 per hour (DOE). Hummingbird Scientific offers a generous compensation package based on experience and demonstrated capabilities.
