Amada Press Brake and Turret Punch Operator

Job Summary
Press Brake Operator (Amada HDS8025NT) (Previous Amada AMNPC experience is preferred but not absolutely necessary) Amada Pega 357 Turret Punch operator. Other related duties to sheet metal work.
Typical Duties/Responsibilities
· Operates a CNC press brake to manufacture components from sheet metal or metal plates.
· Operates a CNC turret punch to cut out sheet metal parts from blanks to be formed.
· Prepares, sets up, and adjusts press brake and turret punch as required by product plans and production schedules.
· Ensures that there are sufficient raw materials available.
· Measures and aligns materials to be used.
· Inspects products, evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications.
· Performs routine maintenance on the press brake.
· Maintains a clean work area.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
· Ability to safely and effectively operate or learn to operate press brake and turret punch controls.
· Ability to follow instructions.
· Ability to read measuring tools, tape measure, calipers, etc.
· Ability to read, interpret, and follow product plans.
· Basic computer and math skills.
Education and Experience
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· At least one year of experience in metal fabrication or related work preferred.
Physical Requirements
· Physically able to operate the press brake and turret punch.
· Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials.
· Must be able to lift 75 pounds at a time.
Salary & Benefits
Salary Range - $21.00/hr to $35.00/hr - Depending on Manufacturing Tenure and Relevant Experience (DOE)
