Job Posting – Remote-Based Associate Attorney

The Law Office of Nicole Daussin, Inc. is a law firm based in Wasilla, Alaska, specializing in personal injury, criminal law, family law, and estate planning. We are currently seeking a highly motivated, independent-minded associate attorney to join our team. This position offers the flexibility of 100% remote work with the option of in-person attendance. The pay structure is based on an "eat what you kill" model, with hourly rates ranging from $100 to $150 based on experience. Flat fees and contingency fees will be split 50/50. Payment will be on a 1099 basis unless the candidate is willing to relocate to Alaska.

Responsibilities:

Serve as co-counsel on litigation matters, taking responsibility for all aspects of the case except court appearances (motion writing, client meetings, navigating deals with opposing counsel).

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing them with guidance and updates on their cases.

Manage and utilize support staff effectively.

Work without set hours, as this is an “eat what you kill” position where payment is solely based on billable hours generated.

Must be willing to apply for the Alaska bar and work on a probationary period until approval by the bar is achieved.

Qualifications:

Willingness to handle family law cases.

Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.

Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.

Proficiency in managing support staff to ensure efficient case handling.
