Maintenance Technician (FT) - Providence Point (Issaquah, WA)

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a crucial role in providing top-tier in-house maintenance for our seven villages and the Umbrella Association. Your responsibilities will include performing pool/spa maintenance, fire system maintenance, carpentry, and emergency service work. You'll ensure all work is executed to the highest standard, maintaining the integrity and quality of our residences and community building.

Pay Range: $24 - $26/Hourly DOE

WE ARE OFFERING A $1.000.00 SIGN-ON BONUS

JOB DUTIES:

Properly maintain an indoor pool and spa at a high level to ensure proper water chemistry/quality and cleanliness.

Maintain 4 community buildings, touch-up paint, carpentry, trim work, drywall.

Perform temporary and permanent repairs to building envelopes to stop water intrusions.

Perform roof repairs, both preventative maintenance and emergency repairs including sheeting replacement.

Perform gutter cleaning and minor repairs.

Interior and exterior painting

Perform street maintenance such as pothole filling, concrete work, signage repair/replacement.

Weekend pool/spa maintenance

Provide snow and ice removal as needed using manual methods.

Participate in Emergency On-Call rotation 1 week duration every 3-4 weeks to provide necessary assistance in water

leaks, storm clean-up, fire response etc.

Perform tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor

Pressure washing, digging holes, replacing expansion joints, replacing lights bulbs and streetlights

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or GED

1-year previous maintenance or construction experience

Entry level of trade tool function and operation for power tools such as circular and miter saws, drills, sanders, paint

sprayers etc.

Must be organized and work well under pressure.

Work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work independently and make educated decisions.

Resolve conflicts in a professional manner.

Basic understanding of building envelope water-proofing principles and how to implement.

Excellent communication/customer service skills

Ability to multi-task is required.

Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Hold a valid driver’s license.

Ability to pass a drug test.

Participate in Emergency On-Call rotation.

Have a good attitude.

Able to work with other employees.
