Seeking Dental Assistant & Front Desk Floater – Join Our Team!

Overview:

Mt Si Dental Center is seeking a dedicated and passionate Dental Assistant/Front Desk Floater. The ideal candidate for this position will be assisting with dental procedures as well as working in the front office. This is a floating position, so flexibility is important. We are a patient-centered practice committed to providing top-notch dental care in a friendly and professional environment. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right fit. If you are enthusiastic about helping patients, willing to take initiative, and possess excellent organizational skills, we welcome you to apply.

Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during dental procedures, maintain equipment and ensure patient comfort

Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures

Take dental X-rays

Sterilize instruments following infection control protocols

Provide patient education on oral hygiene and postoperative care

Intraoral scanning

Greet and welcome patients and visitors at the front desk

Register patients by verifying their demographic information and insurance coverage

Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar

Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries

Collect co-pays and payments for services rendered

Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information

Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Must be a Registered Dental Assistant

Surgical and endodontic assisting experience preferred.

Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods

Proficiency in Open Dental software is a plus

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask and stay organized

Time-management skills

Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and safety

Ability to be flexible with completing office tasks where needed
