About Us:

Pinoyshki, a unique fusion of East European and Filipino culinary traditions, is thrilled to announce the recent opening of our new location in Capitol Hill. Our cafe, bakery, and restaurant serve an eclectic mix of breakfast and lunch dishes. As we embark on this exciting new chapter, we are seeking a passionate Prep Cook to enhance our dynamic kitchen team.

Your Role:

As a Prep Cook and Dishwasher at Pinoyshki, you'll be an integral part of our kitchen operations. Your responsibilities will include assisting the cooks with food preparation, engaging in basic cooking tasks, and contributing to the dishwashing process. This role is a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich flavors and culinary techniques of East European and Filipino cuisines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in preparing a wide range of East European and Filipino dishes & pastries.

- Perform basic cooking duties under the guidance of our experienced cooks.

- Contribute to maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen by participating in dishwashing and other cleaning tasks.

Qualifications:

- Familiarity with Filipino or East European cuisine is highly valued but not required.

- Legal eligibility to work in the US (note: we cannot sponsor work visas).

- Previous experience in food service is beneficial.

- Possession of or ability to obtain a food handler's permit (cost reimbursed upon successful hiring).

- Must demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

- We are offering both full-time and part-time opportunities.
