Hotel Room Attendant

The Interurban Suites Hotel is looking for Room Attendants who will be servicing guest rooms, while making sure to follow a comprehensive cleaning process throughout the hotel following all the Brand and CDC guidelines for cleanliness.

Job Duties:

 Ensure overall cleanliness satisfaction for all rooms, public spaces, and guest touch

points.

 Clean guestrooms according to standards. This includes cleaning the bathrooms,

stripping bed linens, removing garbage, making the bed with fresh linen, dusting,

vacuuming, straightening furniture and bedside table/phone/hotel information, etc.

 Keep all hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed.

 Restock cart with cleaning and sanitization supplies.

 Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.

 Understanding and practicing the safe and proper use and operation of all housekeeping

equipment and supplies.

 Responding to individual guests and employee needs in an appropriate and timely

manner.

 Perform other duties as requested.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

 Housekeeping experience is preferred.

 Basic English verbal communication is preferred but not required.

 Able to bend, reach, push and pull.

 Attention to detail.

 Able to lift up to 50lb.

 Able to use cleaning chemicals.

 Able to follow direction given.
