This role is strategically critical, demanding both a high level of Workday expertise and leadership in Workday finance transformation.Serve as a leading expert in the implementation and optimization of the Workday Financial Management modules, ensuring that configurations, processes, and integrations meet the nuanced requirements of a pediatric healthcare environment. Take a key role as a workstream lead, guiding the Finance team in designing, configuring, and optimizing processes for general ledger, accounts payable, budgeting, forecasting, asset management, and financial reporting to align with hospital objectives and regulatory standards. Leverage experience with Workday Prism Analytics and Adaptive Planning to design, implement, and support robust reporting solutions, meeting the organization's needs for dynamic and strategic financial insights. Partner with the Workday Reporting Leadership and IT teams to implement custom reporting solutions that provide financial insights for hospital administrators, financial officers, and department managers. Collaborate closely with technical teams and key stakeholders in Finance, IT, and Workday Project Leadership to strategize and manage Workday integration with other hospital financial systems, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and seamless interoperability. Support transformation across finance functions by ensuring configurations align with hospital goals, assisting with change management, and guiding team members in maximizing the platform's potential for operational efficiency. Actively participate in PMO, Executive, and Sponsor meetings, presenting regular updates on the finance workstream, particularly regarding progress with financial reporting, budgeting, and planning, ensuring alignment with institutional goals. Provide an unbiased, enterprise-wide view of Workday configurations, ensuring that the finance modules align with broader organizational goals and that best practices are followed for scalable and sustainable solutions.Required Education and Experience7+ years of extensive experience in multiple Workday implementations with a strong focus on Financial Management in a healthcare or complex enterprise environment, including expertise in configuring financial modules and managing integrations.

Proven ability to lead and manage a finance workstream within a large Workday implementation, coordinating closely with PMO, executive leadership, and project stakeholders.

Experience with Workday Prism Analytics and Adaptive Planning, especially in designing and executing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting solutions tailored to organizational needs.

Demonstrated ability to create customized reports within Workday for finance-specific metrics, budget tracking, compliance, and executive dashboards.

Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, guide cross-functional teams, and drive effective change across high-pressure environments.
