DescriptionThe Global Vendor Management (GVM) Program works with HQ senior leadership from a highly selective group of global Amazon vendors, to support the growth of our mutual business and total relationship success across worldwide Amazon. We are a global strategic business development team, seeking a customer-obsessed individual with excellent business judgement, to build collaborative relationships with vendor executives and Amazon teams across all Amazon countries focusing on Sustainability.The Sr. Program Manager, Global Sustainability, is responsible for driving the strategic vision and execution of Amazon’s sustainability initiatives across our largest vendors. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and implement scalable programs that deliver a best-in-class sustainable experience for customers around the world. The Sr. Program Manager will own the development of foundational capabilities, processes, and systems that enable the team to effectively partner with vendors on sustainability and deliver measurable results.Key job responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of Retail Vendors and own the development of foundational capabilities and scalable processes to grow the sustainability service
Work with vendor sustainability counterparts at the VP+ level, and senior leadership at third-party organizations
Develop, build and maintain positive relationships with leaders of partner teams, contribute to program reviews for leadership
Manage complex initiatives, with limited oversight from others, that have cross-functional impact and may not be tied to any program (e.g., exploratory pilots)
Influence roadmaps across orgs by collaborating on proposals and owning the vendor engagement aspects involved
Lead preparation for senior leadership in conference and presentations in verbal and written communication (documents, presentations, scripts)
Proactively identify and mitigate ambiguous risks, capable of making smart trade-offs
Influence scaling sustainability programmatic engagement beyond the portfolio of Retail Vendors
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of program or project management experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Experience working cross functionally with non-tech teams
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of driving process improvements experience
Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
