Does that sound like you?The Opportunity with McKinstryWe are adding a Construction Project Manager to our Special Projects Group (SPG) in Seattle, WA. We are looking for someone who likes to develop and manage project plans, schedules, and scopes of work in a fast-paced atmosphere. You will be joining an established and diverse team where you will be able to make an immediate impact. You are someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and are passionate about solving problems and achieving goals. Additionally, some responsibilities you will have include:
Transitioning project management and engineering activities through the design to construction phase.
Developing and managing project plans, schedules, and scopes of work.
Preparing client and subcontractor change orders.
Monitor, control, and report on the financial performance of projects.
Coordination of work with trades, subcontractors and vendors.
Coach and mentor project team members.
Develop project staffing plans to include labor, subcontractors.
What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry
Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering or equivalent professional experience required.
Five (5) years of experience in project management, engineering, or construction is required.
Experience working for a General Contractor or Major Mechanical Subcontractor preferred.
Proficient with scheduling software: Microsoft Project, Primavera and/or Suretrak preferred.
Completed OSHA 30 class is required.
Basic estimating skills preferred.
Demonstrates an understanding of accounting and financial management preferred.

A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
