Accounting Coordinator

JPC Architects is looking for an Accounting Coordinator JPC Architects is the leading corporate interiors and architecture firm in the Pacific Northwest. We have celebrated over 30 years in business, growing to a staff of 70 talented team members. As the Accounting Coordinator, you will partner closely with our Controller. We are looking for a candidate who produces precise, consistent work. This role is ideal for a knowledgeable candidate looking to grow their technical expertise, while being recognized and supported by management. This could be a full-time or part-time (approx. 30 hrs/week) position.Responsibilities Assisting with month-end close Preparing monthly invoices that are sent to clients Accounts Payable including weekly check runs Prepare balance sheet reconciliations Maintain vendor and client files Prepare 1099 year-end tax forms for vendors & submit to IRS Project Setup and administration Collections of outstanding invoices Monitor and manage the AP and Accounting email inbox and respond to vendor and client inquiries Reconciliation of company credit cards Preparation of monthly and quarterly B&O tax returnsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent work experience1+ years of general ledger experience preferred 1+ years of billing and receivables experience in a professional services environment preferred Moderate Excel background preferred Impeccable attention to detail Strong analytical skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize multiple projects efficiently Strong communication and interpersonal skillsWe work hard and have fun doing it.
