In any given year, a majority of organizations across the world will need to conduct investigations in response to data security incidents and requests for data. Given the boundless volumes of data created, investigation of these incidents and fulfilling these requests can be an uphill climb. We’re looking for a customer-obsessed Sr. Product Marketing Manager, Purview Data Investigation Solutions to join our team of collaborative marketing members who are individually brilliant, love working with each other, and embrace a growth mindset. In this role, you will be responsible for marketing Microsoft Purview’s suite of data investigation solutions, empowering organizations to leverage AI to supercharge their response to data security incidents and requests for data. Your primary objectives are to increase awareness, consideration, revenue, deployment, and usage of these solutions, while always keeping an eye on our competition. You have the ability to look end to end across the business to drive compelling content creation, develop marketing campaigns to create broad awareness and consideration, and partner with our Go-To-Market teams to prepare the field and partners with readiness so they can engage customers and drive revenue.Responsibilities include:

Influencing engineering on product roadmap to ensure competitiveness and meeting audience needs

Collaborating with business planning on business model decisions and then bringing those to market

Narrative integration into the broader data security and risk campaign strategy

Creating content and product demos that can be plugged into the bigger narrative of marketing moments and events

Finding cross sectional area opportunities to amplify Microsoft Purview capabilities that help efficiently investigate data security incidents and respond to data requests

Creating readiness content to ensure field and partner marketing readiness, including marketing collateral, demo readiness, and roadmap communication

Owning and delivering the value proposition of the product in messaging and in content

Owning the website presence for Microsoft Purview’s investigation solutions

Deeply understanding competitors and building strategies to address them

Listening to field input from sellers to influence your marketing motions

Identifying opportunities to grow the overall Microsoft Purview data investigation businesses

QualificationsRequired/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in product marketing, product management and/or technology evangelism experience

OR Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in product marketing, product management and/or technology evangelism experience

OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in product marketing, product management and/or technology evangelism experience

OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in product marketing, product management and/or technology evangelism experience

OR equivalent experience.

Experience in the cybersecurity industry

Demonstrated ability to create compelling narratives targeted to different segments, delivering clear outcomes and a call to action.

Storytelling experience

Proactively and quickly learn new and emerging technologies and ability to explain key end-user scenarios and technical architectures to technical audiences.

Curiosity to understand the nuanced working on the solution, identify key competitive differentiators and be able to simplify the messaging for the customers, partners, and sales teams.

Creative problem solver

Positive, motivational, and inspiring

Strategic thinker who is curious, resilient and goal oriented with a bias for action.

Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $101,200 - $194,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $130,000 - $213,200 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
