Boost Collaborative, provides employment services for individuals with disabilities in Pullman, WA, we are accepting applications for a Training Specialist in Individual Employment. The basic function of the Job Coach is to provide professional coaching, training, and support of clients at their worksite to ensure the client learns and can perform necessary tasks at an acceptable level as required by the employer.

Duties in part include: Provide professional support to clients at their worksite to ensure the client learns and can perform necessary tasks at an acceptable level as required by the employer. A strong aptitude for the common activities of coaching including excellent interpersonal communication skills, flexibility, action planning, maintaining accountability, record keeping, and a passion for helping others succeed. Physical mobility including lifting, pushing, pulling, oral communication with clients and employers and physically assisting adults with disabilities.

This position is highly visible in the community, requiring interaction with a variety of employers, and businesses in a wide range of environments, and working with clients throughout their employment. A strong work life balance is emphasized and flexibility in scheduling is a must- we work when our clients work!

Preferred candidates may come with experience and education in field of human services, training, advocacy, and/or education. Strong candidates may have a background working with individuals with disabilities, strong advocacy for human rights and equity, great customer service, ability to juggle a caseload of clients, ability to write professional case notes, and an interest in our mission. As a condition of employment, background checks are performed due to working with vulnerable adults. 18 years or older, a valid driver’s license and auto insurance is also required, minimum education level-HS diploma, college level preferred.
