Animal Care Substitute

The part-time Animal Care staff member is responsible for cleaning, feeding, medicating, and monitoring domestic animals including cats, dogs, exotic and farm animals. Additional responsibilities may include stocking feed rooms and storage areas, plus some inventory management.

This role is part-time, with variable hours based on coverage needed. Pay varies by experience. The successful completion of 90 days' training and evaluation will result in an offer to join our dedicated team at competitive wages.

Position requirements:

Must be capable of lifting fifty pounds regularly, without straining.

Must be capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Must be willing to wear PPE (personal protective equipment) as needed

Must be able to follow our guidelines for working in isolation areas
