QA AuditorMWH, 6955 22nd Avenue Northeast, Moses Lake, Washington, United States of America Req #1091 Tuesday, October 15, 2024SUMMARY: Under general supervision, the Quality Assurance Auditor I will assess the performance of maintenance, inspection, and related organizational services independent of those organizations to validate compliance with existing company and regulatory requirements. This position makes recommendations and develops improvement strategies to ensure ongoing compliance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Plans, schedules, and performs audits of the entire ATS operation to ensure compliance with company maintenance, inspection, and support of policies and procedures.

Performs investigations as needed into maintenance errors in support of the Flight Safety Program.

Develops strategies for continuous improvement.

Updates processes, services, and procedures with developed error reduction strategies.

Records, analyzes, and reports the quality control and maintenance conformity level, initiating required corrective actions.

Analyzes quality performance factors and metrics to determine potential areas of increased surveillance and to provide appropriate recommendations to affected departments.

Works with all levels of management, regulatory authorities, customer representatives, subcontractor personnel, and others as applicable.

Revises and maintains applicable departmental manuals, forms, and procedures.

Provides feedback and recommendations to maintenance, quality control, and other essential departments regarding maintenance performance, regulatory audit performance, and other factors impacting performance to improve customer satisfaction.

Provides representative oversight for a particular customer or regulatory agency to ensure the company meets the intent of regulatory, customer, or company requirements.

Prepares and conducts presentations, audit debriefs, reliability meetings, and other meetings for various customers and personnel. Presents quality information to ATS management as well as customer management.

Develops and assists with implementing new methods and procedures to improve the effectiveness of ATS quality.

Completes and manages Desktop audits for vendors.

Updates all ATS certifications on ATS Connection, ATS webpage, and QA folder.

Updates Warranty information into database/spreadsheet.

Regular and prompt attendance.

Effective and appropriate conduct with co-workers.

OTHER DUTIES:

Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Familiarity with heavy aircraft maintenance processes and procedures.

Demonstrated knowledge and familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations.

Demonstrated skill in authoring technical procedures and policy.

Ability to understand complex operations from a broad perspective.

Strong analytical skills.

Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Associate's degree preferred.

Minimum of five (5) years of recent experience in quality assurance, quality control, or aviation maintenance environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Previous leadership experience preferred.

Documented auditor training or experience (CASE, ISO, etc.).

FAA A&P Mechanic’s Certificate preferred.

PHYSICAL EFFORT AND DEXTERITY:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sit, use their hands and arms, talk or hear, and focus on objects close up. The employee will also be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Compensation

The base salary for this position is$31 - $47/per hour,exclusive of benefits or potential bonuses. This position is eligible for a quarterly corporate bonus. If you are hired at ATS, your final base hourly rate will be based on skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we consider the internal equity of our current team members to be a part of any final offer. Please remember that the above range is the full base hourly range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a generous benefits package, as detailed below.
