DescriptionAmazon is seeking a proven Principal Technical Program Manager (TPM) with a strong product, technology and ops integration focus to lead our multi-disciplinary program launches in the Last Mile Fleet - Technology Products & Analytics team. This role will bring to life new technology innovations for Amazon’s last mile delivery fleet improving driver and vehicle safety, vehicle uptime and predictive maintenance, vehicle condition and inspections, and telemetry applications.In this role, you will lead multi-year programs from concept through execution, and build robust scalable solutions across several VP organizations spanning Last Mile Delivery, Global Fleet & Products, Amazon Delivery Service Partner Program and Tech Teams, Connected Vehicle Tech teams, Operations, Finance and Legal. You will collaborate closely with product managers, software and hardware engineering, fleet business leaders, field operations, and safety, legal and finance. You will execute on product strategies and think big to innovate for a better customer experience.In this role, you must be able to define and orchestrate work streams, timing, milestones, and communication plans - for both high complexity product launches, and operational integrations.We are looking for a leader who can embrace the challenge of solving complex technical problems that require consistent iteration and schedule refinement and ultimately integrations into Amazon’s last mile delivery and/or fleet operations. This leader will facilitate the development of detailed project plans and timelines, ensure technical teams are delivering to requirements, ensure operations partners are integrating the new technology products on time, and drive leadership alignment and communication of our progress across teams.The successful candidate will have strong Technical Program management and ops integration skills, be highly collaborative, globally minded and have a high level of customer focus. You should be a motivated self-starter that works well with others in a dynamic, ambiguous environment. You should have excellent business, technical, and communication skills to be able to work across countries and markets, dev teams (internal and external to Amazon), and with business and operations owners to define and deliver improvements.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Arlington, VA, USA | Bellevue, WA, USA | Nashville, TN, USABasic Qualifications

10+ years of technical product or program management experience

Experience managing technical programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Proven experience driving clarity in ambiguous situations, where business and architectural strategy may not be defined, with complete independence.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the automotive and/or fleet safety technology industry is a plus.

The base pay for this position ranges from $141,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
