SecuriGence is seeking a Drupal Support Engineer ready to leverage their experience and expertise to provide critical support to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).Responsibilities
Technical Support: Provide tier 2-3 support for Drupal-related issues, troubleshooting problems, and resolving technical queries from clients and internal users.
Maintenance and Updates: Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patches to Drupal sites to ensure security, stability, and performance.
Issue Diagnosis: Diagnose and debug issues related to Drupal modules, themes, and core functionality, providing timely and effective solutions.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for support procedures, troubleshooting guides, and system configurations.
Collaboration: Work closely with developers, designers, and other IT team members to ensure cohesive and efficient support and development processes.
Performance Monitoring:Monitor site performance and implement optimization strategies to improve speed and user experience.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest Drupal developments, best practices, and industry trends to continually improve support services.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
5+ years of experience working with Drupal, including site administration, module development, and theme customization.
Direct DoD/Federal Government experience preferred.
DoD Secret clearance is required.
Knowledge, Skills , and Abilities :
Strong understanding of Drupal architecture and DoD/Federal Government security requirements.
Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL, including core APIs, hooks, and module systems.
Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with web hosting environments and server management.
Knowledge of DoD/Federal Government Drupal security best practices.
