Commercial Millwork- Installation Supervisor

Essential duties and responsibilities include:
Coordinates workforce needs based on field conditions to
Ensures work schedules are followed
Assigns work based on priorities and available equipment, personnel, materials and assemblies, labor pool and available subs
Develops and communicates plans with employees, subcontractors, management, shop, finance and accounting and office personnel
Recommends and initiates personnel actions including hire, fire, pay changes, training etc. within corporate guidelines
Deliver superior projects on time and within budget
Performs quality control to comply with project specs and AWI requirements
Oversee and ensure all subcontractors comply with quality control standards that comply with project specs and AWI requirements
Effectively reads and interprets architectural and millwork shop drawings
Conducts field lay-outs and verifies measurements/dimensions for cabinetry millwork, material installation and MEP rough-ins. Creates templates to ensure a correct, finished product
Prepares material quantity take-offs to ensure delivery in advance of installation dates
Creates a pre-punch list and oversees the accurate completion of the project
Must have the ability to analyze job site production and compare it to the project schedule
Seeks out ways to improve the company’s processes and exceed the customer’s expectations
Exceed safety guidelines
Investigates and reports accidents, injuries and near misses
Conducts/arranges for worker training in safety, repair, maintenance and installation techniques, procedures and equipment use.
Oversee and ensure all subcontractors comply with safety requirements and quality control standards that comply with project specs and AWI requirements
Communicates regularly with clients, engineers, project manager, production manager and finance
Represents CLM as our onsite safety coordinator
Meets with subcontractors to track progress and ensure project is on schedule
Maintain professionalism and conduct that meets CLM requirements
Attend daily/weekly site meetings as required
Coordinates GC/Owner punch list requirements with project management and subcontractors
Maintain a harmonious relationship with clients, owner’s reps, subcontractors, vendors and various inspectors through communications and problem-solving
Must provide feedback to the project manager daily for site conditions, gaps in site production vs schedule, other trades impact on CLM’s products, etc.
Attend required construction meetings
Essential Qualifications:
Strong work ethic, willingness to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time, and highly motivated
Ability to read shop drawings, blueprints, and architectural
Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
Computer literate including Microsoft Office
5+ years commercial millwork installation experience
3+ years management experience
Bilingual preferred but must be able to fluently speak, read, and write English
Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate
Good math and accounting skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Physical Requirements
Continuously use close, distance, color, and peripheral vision; depth perception and adjust focus
Regularly use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools etc., reach with hands and arms
Use fine motor coordination and eye-hand coordination
Frequently walk, sit, stand, bend and static positions for long periods of time
Occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, lift and carry up to 70lbs with or without assistance
Frequently works:
Near moving mechanical parts, tools, and machinery
Is exposed to vibration, humidity, and changes in temperature
Occasional exposure to strong smells and loud noises including banging, running machines etc.
Frequently alternate between production environments and office environments
