Project Manager

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to become a part of our local government team in Richmond, Virginia. This role involves managing and overseeing various projects, ensuring they are completed within set timeframes and are aligned with our organization's objectives. The Project Manager will be required to interact with various departments, making their role essential for maintaining smooth operations within the organization.Responsibilities: Analyze historical data, trends, and business needs to forecast project requirements and timelines Develop and maintain effective project schedules to ensure optimal resource utilization and adherence to set targets Monitor real-time adherence to project schedules and make necessary adjustments to optimize productivity Analyze project data and provide insights to identify opportunities for improving operational efficiency and performance Collaborate with various department managers to identify and address project challenges and ensure seamless execution of tasks Develop and maintain effective communication channels with team members, providing timely updates on project schedules and any changes Maintain and update project management systems and tools to ensure accurate and up-to-date information Assist in training and mentoring new team members to ensure a high level of competency within the team Coordinate schedules and manage resources effectively to ensure smooth project execution Use CRM, Database, and EO/IR systems to manage customer service, analyze trends, and conduct data analysis. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Project Manager in the local government sector. Proven skills in using CRM and database systems. Familiarity with EO/IR systems is required. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on responsiveness and reliability. Ability to analyze trends and use data to inform decision-making processes. Proficiency in data analysis and presenting findings in a clear, concise manner. Experience in coordinating schedules to ensure project timelines are met. Proven ability to train employees, enhancing their skills and knowledge for better performance. The candidate must possess a high level of professionalism, integrity, and ethics. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Must have a proactive approach and the ability to work independently. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
